We have the stability of a 25-year-old organization, but we look, feel, and operate like a tech-forward startup.  We’re looking for an organized self-starter to support our marketing team and organization at large by testing and executing upon marketing partnership strategy. Our marketing partnerships ensure our social change campaigns reach young people around the world so they can take action in their communities around issues they care about.

What you’ll do here.

  • Campaign Support.
    • Manage day-to-day needs ( e.g. asset mgmt, scheduling, recap reports, etc.) and marketing operations for sponsored and non-sponsored campaigns.
    • Synthesize marketing analytics for campaign wrap reports, specifically for sponsored campaigns.
    • Design and implement measurements to quantify ROI from marketing campaigns.
  • Paid Acquisition.
    • Develop growth marketing strategy in collaboration with senior team members.
    • Continuously analyze campaign effectiveness and allocate investment dollars to the highest ROI opportunities/most effective paid acquisition channels.
    • Oversee paid media plan and budget: Adwords/SEM, paid social, retargeting, etc.
    • Understand best practices and policies for PPC platforms (Google AdSense + Facebook).
  • Audience Acquisition & Retention.
    • Help identify new and untapped sources of scholarship partner traffic.
    • Execute pilot tests for experimental and innovative traffic acquisition strategies.
    • Maintain & grow traffic levels from existing marketing sources.
    • Work with product and engineering teams to understand and apply SEO best practices.
  • Marketing Partnership Outreach and Support.
    • Work with product and data teams to ensure we're effectively tracking against success metrics.
    • Coordinate marketing partner rollout strategy and work with product teams to track and report performance metrics.
    • Develop supporting materials (e.g. pitch decks, briefs, case studies)  for partner outreach.
    • Help cold-pitch media & marketing outlets to get on their radar + develop creative ways to get in the door.

What you’ve done & who you are.

  • 3-5 years experience in a comparable role related to marketing strategy or customer acquisition.
  • Desire to leverage your strong analytical skills and creative, strategic thinking to do good in the world.
  • Strong quantitative skills, allowing you to ship analytics in a timely manner.
  • You have pride in your work. You’re open to critical feedback on your drafts and won’t ship a final version of something until it’s near-perfect.
  • You have experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and SEM.
  • You’ve hit your KPIs, and can balance ownership and collaboration.
  • You’re highly motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with growth marketing & paid acquisition (not a requirement, but a plus!)
